Patterson to deliver annual budget message Wednesday
What: Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson will announce that his recommended budget is balanced for FY2013-2015 without a tax increase when he delivers his annual budget message to the Board of Commissioners. He will outline how Oakland County’s prudent fiscal policies and collaboration among all elected officials in county government help to maintain the county’s AAA rating. He will offer a look into current and future economic trends that may impact government revenues, including efforts to reach “full employment” in 18 months. Patterson also will discuss employee wages and benefits.
