Dearborn High quarterback Ollie Ajami ran for three touchdowns and passed for two more Friday night to lead the Pioneers to a 35-14 victory over visiting Edsel Ford.
Ajami scored on a pair of 4-yard runs and hooked up with Ali Farhat for two scoring strikes as the hosts ran up a 28-0 lead in the first half.
The Thunderbirds converted on a two-minute drive and dented the scoreboard on a touchdown pass from Dylan Sanchez to Leonte Degraffenreid to make it 28-7 at the halftime break.
Ajami sneaked in from a yard out in the third quarter to complete the scoring for DHS.
Sanchez hooked up with Degraffenreid one more time in the fourth quarter and that was the ballgame.
The loss dropped Edsel to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the Blue Division of the Western Wayne Athletic Conference. The Thunderbirds will host Romulus next Friday night.
Dearborn High lifted its record to 2-2 overall and 2-0 in the WWAC Blue. The Pioneers will visit Fordson Friday.
